About The Crew

Calder (The Captain): Since he was a kid he has been in and around the water as a fisherman, water polo player, and adventurer. He combines general knowledge of the sea with a leadership mentality and a talent for building things. Not only is his physical strength unrivaled, but he is also capable of tackling detail-intensive problems that require finesse and patience.

Will (The Pilot): After eight years of bird watching Will Brooks has developed into a birder extraordinaire. From spotting birds to identifying them no bird escapes his gaze. With these lightning fast reflexes and wit, Will Brooks is the only person who can handle the task of piloting the Humuhumunukunukuapua’a.

Carlos (The Wildcard): 18 years old, senior in high school. Carlos has always loved sports since he was a kid, growing up playing soccer and later becoming a fan of basketball and football. His favorite teams include the 49ers, Chicago Bulls, and FC Barcelona. Other than sports, Carlos likes to play video games with is friends and going outside.

Victoria: (The Blogger): A performer first, a poetry savant second, and a patron of music, Victoria is a lover of all things creative. With hours upon hours of first hand Tumblr experience, and a voracious will to succeed, there is no one else more qualified for the role of Blogger. She is excited to help tackle the mechanical challenges of wiring and constructing the ROV.
